    Our wood pulpit furniture is constructed of Northern Red Oak wood. This timber is selected from the northern hill country. It is then sawn in the winter when the "sap is down", stacked carefully for cool air-drying until the next year so it won't split or check. Then it is kiln dried to exact 6% moisture content before it goes to the factory. Our wood pulpit furniture is finished tested & is guaranteed not to warp, split or check.
