Wood Lecterns & Podiums

    Our wood lecterns & podiums are constructed of Northern Red Oak wood selected from the northern hill country. It is then sawn in the winter when the "sap is down", stacked carefully for cool air-drying until the next year so it won't split or check. Then it is kiln dried to exact 6% moisture content before it goes to the factory. After that it is stored in a special humidistatically controlled warehouse for no less than three months to relieve all the natural stresses & equalize all the boards. These wood lecterns & podiums have no hidden softwood or low-grade core-stock, only honest Northern Red Oak. Each of our wood lecterns & podiums are finish tested & is guaranteed to not warp, split or check. You cannot find better craftsmanship!
