The fiberglass baptistry shall be CONTINENTAL series, Model No. XI-2 by Bowling United Industries, P.O. Box 2250, Danville, Virginia 24541. The fiberglass baptistry shall be manufactured with "Uniglass" molded one-piece construction & shall be constructed with layers of top quality fiberglass & polyester resins, be sufficiently re-inforced with molded-in exterior lateral supports to permit the fiberglass baptistry to be filled while free standing. The compression strength shall be a minimum of 38,000 PSI (Edgewise) & tensile strength shall be 32,000 PSI (Average). The thickness shall be a minimum of 3/16". The interior shall have a smooth, high gloss, porcelain like finish. All corners shall be gently rounded & steps shall have a NON-SKID surface for safety.
The fiberglass baptistry shall be guaranteed for 35 years against defects in workmanship & materials when installation is equal to manufacturers recommendations. The color shall be Blue .
The fiberglass baptistry shall be furnished with the following Accessories:
(1) A
PLEXIGLASS VIEW WINDOW utilizing 1/2" clear acrylic plexiglass, 12" x
60" Model No. 30 .
(2) Remote release drain,
overflow & drain release unit Model No. 15 with
an over-rim type fill faucet Model No. 10.
(3) ELECTRIC CIRCULATIONS
WATER HEATERS, complete hot water generating plant with tubular heating
element in copper. Built-in thermostat, with insulated galvanized steel
pipe body. One Model No. 650 Electric
heating System (5,500) watts, 240 volts, single phase built-in thermostat,
with one installation kit, with one Model No. 320 recirculating
pump.
(4) Remote operated electric
fill valve with fill port & automatic water level control Model No. 20 .
(5) Two (2) Drip Landings Model No. 60 provide
area for robe & subject to drain.
(6) Adult Seat & Child
Step Model No. 75 permits
baptism of sick, elderly & handicapped with ease, also elevates a small
child for better viewing of the baptism.
